My work moves between romantic comedy, science fiction and action and suspense - but at the heart of each story is the same fascination: human connection, transformation, and what becomes possible when we see the world differently and believe in magic again.

My stories are grounded in a distinctly female perspective, drawing from modern life as well as archetypes, mythology, spirituality and my Asian heritage. My work can be serious or playful, but I always try to find the lightness and humor within every story.

My background in sustainability has deeply influenced my storytelling. I have led sustainability advisory groups at two major financial institutions where I helped companies navigate their environmental impact. Personally, I’ve developed a particular interest in the interconnectedness of the natural world and try to promote ocean conservation, animal welfare and the preservation of Earth’s biosphere. These experiences and passions continue to shape the stories I tell and the possibilities I imagine.

My screenplays have won and placed in competitions, including winning Best Feature in ScreenCraft’s Science Fiction & Fantasy Competition and Best Science Fiction Script in the Vail Screenplay Competition.

Before writing, I was a dancer and actress. My journey later took me to Wall Street, where I spent years on the trading floor, trading and originating fixed-income securities, before transitioning into sustainability leadership, advising companies on their environmental impact.

In 2018, I did a TEDx talk titled “Why the Earth Needs Modern Day Heroes,” exploring our relationship with the natural world and the role we play in shaping a better future.

Those seemingly different worlds now find their way into my stories.

I write about love, magic, reinvention, the future - and everything in between.

I’m represented by Heroes and Villains Entertainment.
